Optimal Rate Home Loans is in Redmond, Oregon however we serve the ENTIRE State of Oregon. Our CEO, Aaron Myhra an Oregon native moved to beautiful Central Oregon in 1999 to raise a young family. Having spent decades building high end custom homes, multifamily and commercial projects all over Oregon including in 1993, being invited to build a custom home in Akita City, Japan an experience never to be forgotten.

In August of 2005, he decided to transition his love for real estate to the financing side and began helping families all over the Northwest accomplish their goals of home ownership right as the housing market began to collapse. Aaron dug in and worked hard making it thru the downturn while sharpening his skills, knowledge and understanding of the home loan process from the street level to how the stock & bond markets move the needle. Along the way, he earned the nickname, the “Home Loan Ninja”.
